Reviews

Review for 5 hours days Helicopter To Everest View Hotel

Thank you airdynasty

I'm 62 years old, and my knees aren't what they used to be, so trekking for two weeks to Everest Base Camp was never going to happen for me. But I've dreamed about seeing Everest since I was a teenager watching documentaries about Hillary and Tenzing. When my daughter found out about Air Dynasty Heli's helicopter tour, she surprised me by booking it for my birthday. I was nervous about the altitude because I'd read scary stories online about altitude sickness. The Air Dynasty team put my mind at ease immediately. They explained everything clearly, checked my health information, and assured me they carry medical equipment and oxygen on every flight. Their concern felt genuine, not just procedural. The helicopter itself was much more comfortable than I expected. Large windows, comfortable seats, and smooth flying. I'm not great with heights usually, but the pilot was so steady that I forgot to be scared. Instead, I just stared out the window the entire time. Seeing the Himalayas from above was like looking at another planet. The scale is just impossible to comprehend until you're there. The glaciers, the peaks, the tiny villages clinging to mountainsides, everything felt both ancient and alive. When we landed near Everest Base Camp, I actually gasped. My daughter took a photo of my face at that moment, and you can see exactly what wonder looks like. We spent about 10 minutes at the landing site, which was enough for my body to handle at that altitude. I felt a bit lightheaded, but the crew was watching everyone carefully. They helped me move slowly, take photos, and just absorb the moment without rushing. The breakfast stop at Everest View Hotel was delightful. Hot tea, fresh food, and that view. I kept pinching myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. The other guests there were trekkers who'd walked for days to reach this spot, and they were just as amazed as we were. Air Dynasty Heli made something I thought was impossible completely possible for me. The professionalism, safety standards, and genuine care they showed made this more than just a tourist activity. It was a dream fulfilled. I'm so grateful to them for giving me this experience.

Review for 5 hours days Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour

Best service

My wife and I booked the Everest Base Camp helicopter tour with Air Dynasty Heli during our two-week Nepal trip, and honestly, it turned out to be the absolute highlight. We only had limited time in Kathmandu before heading to Chitwan, so the full trek wasn't realistic for us. This tour gave us everything we wanted in just one morning. The pickup from our hotel in Thamel was right on time at 5:45 AM. Our pilot, whose name I believe was Ramesh, was incredibly professional and made us feel comfortable from the moment we met him. The safety briefing was thorough without being scary, which my wife really appreciated since she gets nervous about flying. When we lifted off from Kathmandu, watching the sun come up over the valley was magical. The flight to Lukla took about 45 minutes, and we could see terraced farms, small villages, and rivers winding through the mountains below. After refueling in Lukla, things got even more spectacular. The helicopter climbed higher, and suddenly we were surrounded by these massive white peaks. Landing at Kala Patthar at 5,450 meters was surreal. We had maybe 15 minutes there, which sounds short but felt perfect. The air was thin, and I could feel my heart beating faster, but Air Dynasty provided oxygen, so we felt safe. Standing there with Everest right in front of you is something you can't describe properly. My wife cried a little, and I'm not ashamed to say I got emotional too. Breakfast at Everest View Hotel was another surprise. The food was actually really good, and sitting there eating eggs and toast while looking at the world's highest mountain felt completely unreal. The staff at the hotel were warm and friendly, and they gave us tips about the best photo spots. The whole experience with Air Dynasty Heli felt premium but not snobbish. Everyone was down-to-earth and genuinely passionate about what they do. If you're considering this tour, stop thinking about it and just book it. Yes, it's expensive, but you're paying for safety, professionalism, and memories that will last forever.

Amazing trip up to the Mount Everest! If you get the chance and dont want to hike, take this helicopter flight! Take a flight up to Lukla, stay there for a night to experience the town, and start your helicopter flight from there. The flight was amazing, delayed because of the weather and “emergency flights” but turned out to be worth the money. Great and helpful staff! Enjoy the flight!
