It takes 35 minutes to reach Base Camp from Lukla by Helicopter with 10 minute ground time.

2) What is the maximum altitude during an Everest Base Camp helicopter tour?

Lukla is at the elevation of 2,830 m. The maximum altitude you’ll land at Kala Patthar on an elevation of 5,545 m.

3) Best time to explore the Everest Base Camp via Helicopter?

Although helicopter ride can be done all the season there are some peak seasons. The peak season are Spring (March-May) and Autumn (October-Mid December). During this season the weather is favourable with the mountain views at their best.

Mountains weather are often unpredictable. Flights are rarely getting cancel during peak season. But we ensure weather conditions 24 hours before flight time.
In off-season flights are usually get cancelled so before booking your flight please kindly confirm your travelling months whether it’s peak season or offseason.
